Giovanna helps parents of neurodivergent children log behaviors, spot triggers, and create clear summaries for caregivers, therapists, and schools — with privacy built in from the start.
No credit card required. Start with one observation.
Capture what happened by voice or text. No perfect note-taking required.
Spot triggers, regulation needs, and what actually helps.
Turn observations into summaries your village can actually use.
Most parents are carrying dozens of moments in their head at once: rough transitions, sensory overload, sleep disruptions, meltdowns that seem to come from nowhere, and strategies that sometimes work and sometimes don't. Giovanna helps you capture those moments as they happen, so they become usable insight instead of mental clutter.
Log a moment in about 30 seconds. Add what happened before, during, and after — or just speak naturally and let Giovanna organize it.
See recurring triggers, behaviors, supports, and recovery patterns across days, weeks, and months.
Create summaries, support notes, and shareable plans for caregivers, therapists, teachers, and family members.
A single log is a memory. A month of logs can show you what sets your child up to struggle, what helps them regulate faster, and what your support team needs to know — moving you from "I know something is going on" to "now I can explain it clearly."
Transitions before school are the most common trigger.
Recovery is faster when movement happens before demands.
Hard mornings are more common after late bedtimes.
One calming strategy works at home, but not at school.
Your child interacts with different people in different settings. Giovanna helps you turn what you've learned into clear, practical summaries for the people who care for them — without forcing you to explain everything from scratch every time.
Share what matters with teachers, therapists, family members, respite providers, and first responders.
Giovanna encrypts sensitive information before it leaves your device. Privacy isn't an afterthought or a settings-page checkbox — it's part of the product from the beginning, so you can keep track of hard things without feeling exposed.
Giovanna is named after a real child whose family began tracking a repeated behavior and started seeing the pattern behind it. That insight changed the response, and the behavior diminished. This product was built around that same belief: when we understand what a child is communicating, we can support them with more dignity and less guesswork.
Giovanna isn't a startup's guess at what families need. It was built by an educator and researcher who has spent his life in this world — and whose scholarship is the framework underneath the app.
More than 35 years alongside families, communities, and people with disabilities. A Ph.D. candidate at the University of South Carolina who holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee — including a graduate-level Applied Behavior Analysis course and a year-long practicum at the Autism Behavioral Network, completed while he ran group homes for adults with disabilities. He built Giovanna to put that behavioral training into families' own hands.
